Setting Constraints

Discover how precise constraints drastically improve results.

Instructions

Constraints are the guardrails that prevent AI from going in all directions. The more precise your constraints, the more targeted and usable the result will be. Think of constraints as the walls of a corridor: they guide the AI toward exactly what you want. Without constraints, AI has too much freedom and often produces a result that is too long, too vague, or off-topic. In this exercise, you'll stack multiple constraints to get a very specific result: a recipe that meets multiple criteria simultaneously.

Your prompt

Write a prompt asking the AI to generate a recipe while respecting ALL these constraints simultaneously: 1. **Diet**: vegetarian (no meat, fish, or animal by-products except eggs and dairy) 2. **Time**: preparation + cooking in less than 30 minutes total 3. **Ingredients**: maximum 6 ingredients (salt, pepper, and oil don't count) 4. **Allergy**: no tree nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, etc.) 5. **Format**: numbered steps, with the time for each step in parentheses 6. **Bonus**: calorie estimate per serving at the end The prompt must be structured so that no constraint is forgotten by the AI.
